The Complete Guide to Hysterectomy and Beyond They are based on my own experience as well as the 1000's of women that have contacted The Hysterectomy Association over the years. And I believe that they answer almost all the questions that the majority of women have, and I think they even manage to put some fun back into your recovery! This little book [The Pocket Guide to Hysterectomy] told me so much more than others, and it was so easy to read as well, thank you. PC

The Complete Guide to Hysterectomy and Beyond . as well as even more information on how to decide whether to take HRT or not; whether you should have your ovaries and cervix removed; the various exercises you can do at different stages; dealing with the embarrasing aspects of surgery; coping with the boredom of recovery and generally getting your life back to normal. Just to say how very helpful I found the 101 Handy Hints book after my recent hysterectomy. The bite size chunks of information and really practical advice, coupled with a sense of humour, really got me through the first few days in particular. Note to self, though, dont leave a useful little book in your overnight bag in the wardrobeyou wont be able to get at it just when you need it!. HG
